They found my emergency brake was completely inoperable or frozen so I had to purchase a new one totalling over $500. I seldom require the use of my emergency brakes and was told using them more often would probably have prolonged their life(?). I believe having these brakes fail at such low mileage is a defect by the auto maker. It wasn't covered under extended warranty. CA | 02/21/05 | 4.00 | Have had problems with tires, replaced to at dealers expense due to dangerous uneven wear. Now tires seem to be cracking in the tread. Have had slow leaks of all tires, nothing to fix. Will replace all tires soon.
Also have had a recurring problem with the vent selector knob. Will stick and then eventually not go all the way to one side. Have had "fixed" 4 times. Still doesn't work right.
Seems that this truck scratches very easily, never had a problem like this on any of my other vehicles.
