2003 | William R. | COVINGTON GA | 06/23/09 | 4.00 | No problems during 1st 7 years of ownership. Then had to replace fuel tank sub-assembly and relay due to excessive carbon buildup. | 2003 | Jared D. | SEBASTOPOL CA | 05/29/09 | 5.00 | Best car I ever owned. Now has 96K miles and I am facing first significant repair, hence a review of the service bulletins | 2003 | Robert S. | BLAIRSVILLE GA | 02/14/09 | 5.00 | I love filling up for less than $20.00 every two weeks. | 2003 | Ch C. | SELINSGROVE PA | 02/02/09 | 4.00 | none | 2003 | Audrey G. | CRANSTON RI | 01/25/09 | 4.00 | On frigid mornings, the warning light comes on and the check engine, something to do with the gas line? I usually need to turn the ignition on and off up to 12 times before the warning light will go off and then the car is fine the rest of the day. The check engine light goes off after 2 or 3 good starts. | 2003 | Fred S. | SALEM MA | 09/14/08 | 5.00 | With 98,000 miles on my '03 Prius I am experiencing check engine light and steering warning light issues. In spite of the "warnings" the care continues to run fine with no change in gas mileage. The dealer hands me a $4,000 estimate to "fix" the car . I'm not convinced there is anything more than a computer/electronic signal issue. | 2003 | Richard T. | GARRETTSVILLE OH | 08/31/08 | 5.00 | all is well | 2003 | Karen S. | PORT ORCHARD WA | 03/07/06 | 1.00 | replaced steering 2000 dollars in January '06. Currently a rod went through the engine block....cost of repair 8K. Mileage is at 60,000 when this happened. Use to be a devoted Toyota fan.....I pray Toyota keeps us from wandering and helps with this major problem! | 2003 | Barbara T. | BRIMLEY MI | 01/28/06 | 1.00 | battery replaced in first year, then all brakes replaced, then leak in radiator, now PC valve frozen causing oil throughout engine & $400 to clean. Lemon?
1/09-new problem. Car stays in a garage. Temperature in 20's. Drove to work 22 miles & all okay. Went to leave 5 hours later & right rear wheel frozen, car had to be towed. Dealer thawed car in garage & checked brakes-no problem. Why did this happen? Dealer can offer no explanation. What is next???? |
