CA | 12/18/06 | 3.00 | I like the Prius in general, but we have had an ongoing problem since it was first purchased. At random times the car won't start and the auxilliary battery has lost it's charge. I have taken car for service at least 5 times on this problem. Each time given a different diagnosis. The car is easily jump started and then runs fine. Weeks may go by and then the problem reoccures. Sometimes the problem persists for two or three days, then car starts fine. Most recently took the car into dealership, let it sit for 2-3 days and car started fine, they did diagnostic tests and could find nothiing wrong. Now, three weeks later car won't start and Check engine lights on.
