CA | 12/20/08 | 3.00 | v6, automatic drives nice and feels firm but suspension sounds klunky, has 18000 mi now, last year we drove 120 mi. and the abs light came on, stayed on till the next day, two weeks later it came on again and went off as I drove to the dealer there was no other indication of a brake problem but the light, they seemed to have fixed that and reprogramed the air bag module while it was in. I also have trouble with fuel fill and the gauge is unreliable. Also every so often when accelerating moderately from a complete stop the car seems to hesitate on and off, it feels as if your pushing the pedal up and down rapidly, or it feels like the tires are way out of round or something. other than that the car looks and drives good, good power for a v6. From painting issues, left window failure to close complete, fulty boost gauge, decal on the steering wheel unglued, defective gas tank (alredy changed but don't convice me at all), the front barke disc noisy, the alternator was replaced 1 time. Basically it look like a lemon car. I think this will be my last Ford. Next time I will buy Toyota, more reliable and the customer service is excellent. | 2006 | John B. |
