Went and filled up fuel tank and it held 17.5 gallons of fuel. Owner's Manual says tank is 26 gallon. What up this? | 2005 | R H. | OREGON CITY OR | 09/07/09 | 4.00 | Have had good luck with our SX70 Tahoe 2005 4WD. The only thing bad about it is the carpet on the floors shedding causing carpet dusting on seats, dash and throughout the vehicle. The dash on passenger side has the grey rubberized coating coming off showing black underneath. Seats in back of the front seats squeak and make rubbing noise. | 2005 | Jeff K. | MINE HILL NJ | 07/25/09 | 3.00 | Needs to get better MPG | 2005 | Cheryl H. | TUCSON AZ | 05/12/09 | 4.00 | My 2005 Tahoe Rear Hatch Actuator went out and only way to get hatch open is to climb into the back and pry open the back panel there is no way to open it besides that since there is no key hole access. contacted the dealer and the part cost apprx. $300 and you have to purchase the whole unit which includes all of the latches, cables and you can't purchase the acutator separately you have to purchase everything this is something that should be recalled. This is a inconvience because you can't use the back of the vehicle. | 2005 | Duane P. | PITTSBORO NC | 03/27/09 | 4.00 | Rust problem with front and rear bumper. Dealer gave me run around with replacement under rust through warranty. I had to get the state attorney office involved. Proven that bumpers do fall under "bumper to bumper" rust trough warranty. Bumpers were replaced. | 2005 | Cathy S. | ROWLEY MA | 01/15/09 | 3.00 | Own a 2005 Tahoe, bought it in 2006. When temperatures drop to 20 or below, the headlights go on and stay on, usually at night. Battery goes dead. Have to jump start it. The mechanic can't diagnose it because it is now running. This started happening in 2007. Happened last night, had it towed to the dealership. Waiting for diagnostic results. Anyone else have this problem? | 2005 | Kerry H. | WHITE CLOUD MI | 12/16/08 | 4.00 | None so far | 2005 | Daniele C. | ROANOKE AL | 12/14/08 | 3.00 | the steering wheel seems to be loose like there something in the steering column loose. It makes a slight knocking noise in park and when the brake is applied. It has done this for 2 years every time I take it to the shop they don't know what it is, I live in a small town. They grease some fittings in the front end and it stopped for a while now it is bak | 2005 | Tamara H. | WOODBINE GA | 11/13/08 | 0.00 | only had the car for 10 months | 2005 | Matt G. | ATLANTA GA | 10/09/08 | 4.00 | low gas mileage, | 2005 | Mike M. | RICHMOND KY | 10/02/08 | 3.00 | steering shaft and 4wd indicator | 2005 | Tammie P. | BURKE VA | 07/13/08 | 4.00 | love this truck!! | 2005 | Rich Z. | NEWPORT KY | 06/11/08 | 3.00 | Brakes - Front rotors were not a full cast. Explained - the last one inch of the inner left and right rotor was rusted because the pads did not touch the rotor for the first 42000 miles. Then when it did it caused a shaking peddle and vibration. | 2005 | Melissa M. | SPRING VALLEY CA | 05/02/08 | 0.00 | Just looking to see why my Tahoe is doing crazy stuff... | 2005 | Wayne P. | SEATTLE WA | 08/15/06 | 4.00 | 18 months and no problems at all.
