Very disappointed for the price and the quality that was not thought of in the design of door. Was a complaint before warranty expired, but was not corrected. | 2003 | John B. | TEMECULA CA | 05/11/09 | 1.00 | My 2003 Tahoe LT has a defective Air Bag. The light on my panel displayed this when my car had approximately 80K miles. I reported this to Carriage Motors in Temecula, CA. They refused to have this repaired at Chevrolet factory cost.
I again turned in my Tahoe, today, May 11, 2009, and the shop manager Frank Spizer refused to have this fixed but instead offered me 20% off a repair cost of $699.00 I refused this discount as I firmly believe that since my 2003 Tahoe has never been in an accident, that there should be no reason for the Air Bag to fail like this.
I want for GM to pay for this and to issue a recall to all Tahoe owners who have this same malady. | 2003 | Todd A. | WATKINSVILLE GA | 04/30/09 | 3.00 | Having problems with the AC tensioner or compressor viberating | 2003 | Diana M. | BRATTLEBORO VT | 04/14/09 | 4.00 | just got the car, no problems so far. Sometimes I can turn the emergency flashers on and off and then the right signal will work. This lasted about 3 weeks, now no problem. | 2003 | Bridget B. | UNIONVILLE TN | 12/16/05 | 1.00 | I own a 2003 Tahoo that has caused me more trouble than it is worth. In the first year I had to have a battery replaced, front head light replaced, and a recall done on my steerin wheel column. After the recall had been done the clicking in my steering wheel was still not solved and took it back a second time but told by the GM service co. that nothing was wrong. After a while my blower on my air went out which was replaced because it was still under warranty. The next thing I knew, my speedometer went out. I blamed this service company for messing up my dash board when they fixed the steering column because it seemed like after this everything went wrong. For three years I have drove this vehicle with a faulty speedometer because I was told three years ago by Mark Pirtle Cheverolet that it would cost over $680 to fix. I could not afford this. A few months later my air went out again and had to pay over $1000 to have the compressor and idler fixed. Still to this day I have no speedometer and can not turn my blower past number 3 and can not start the vehicle with the air on without a clacking noise under the hood. After writing about this situation 3 years ago, today I received a recall about this situation, but it affects only people under 70,000 miles with a vehicle of 2004 and below and only if you had paid to have this unusual problem fixed before 80,000 miles. I feel that this is unjust and unfair that now when my vehicile is 5 years old with 84.000 miles would happen even though I've been complaining for 3 years. I certainly am not through with this situation. |
