FL | 09/07/08 | 2.00 | Axle seals are leaking, no problem with the rear axle yet. I have had 2 front differential problem while in 4wheel drive in reverse. Both times backing up in 4wheel drive on flat level ground with no load and low rpm around 2000rpm the front differential housing has broke. PA | 09/05/08 | 1.00 | tailpipe fell off and on to bundle oy entire electrical wires and fire burned and mlted entire bundle with loss of engine power and all electrical including lights and hazard lights. This was in Interstate I-79 pulling a 7000 pound boat AND IN THE DAY. Had this occured on NY I-90 it would have caused a MULTIPLE chain collision and death, especally at night. Several others have reported this same problem BUT NOT ON INTERSTATE!
The vehicle was towed to Erie Nissan and Nissan refused any liability,repair or acknowledge manufacture ptroblem. This is an UNSAFE vehicle and a complaint has been filed wit NHTSA, Pa attorney general and others. DO NOT DRIVE THIS VEHICLE TILL RECALLED | 2004 | Robbin L. | PITTSBURGH
