CA | 04/13/09 | 3.00 | Drained battery & loss of power steering: after getting back from 3 week vaction in France, my wife could not wait to drive her BMW, but during her trip to the school there was a sudden loss of power steering that she is afraid of driving it home. So it was towed. Next day, she
could not start the BMW 525i due to a dead battery. The dealer told us that it may run out of battery if the car is not driven more than 2 weeks! Also the lack of power steering may due to the near death battery which is the safety issue to the consumer. The dealer fixed the battery, but less than 2 months later the battery died again. My wife is now afraid to drive the car at night and could not enjoy her dream car anymore. |
