Being prepared can save lives during an unexpected emergency.  First aid kits with basic supplies often save the day when attending to even minor injuries. Be sure to purchase a first aid manual and become familiar with how to use the supplies in your kits. Check your kits regularly and replace missing supplies or those that have become outdated. Both at home and on the road it is always best to be prepared.

For more information about being prepared for a disaster visit the American Red Cross or the Department of Homeland Security’s preparedness website http://www.Ready.gov
